Horizon Hotel

My recent stay at Horizon Hotel in Kota Kinabalu was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff who went above and beyond to ensure my experience was memorable. Their helpfulness and genuine hospitality made me feel right at home. We have also received an exceptional service when I needed a short visit to local medical center and manager and staff took us there and assisted all the way and brought us back with their own car. The hotel’s location is a major advantage. Situated conveniently near popular attractions and I found it easy to explore the vibrant culture and natural beauty of Kota Kinabalu. Whether I was shopping or dinning everything was just a short distance away. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. The selection was impressive, offering a delightful array of local and international dishes. Every morning started on a high note with delicious food that catered to all tastes. The dining area was also well-maintained, providing a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy my meals. Overall, Horizon Hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect. With its excellent service, fantastic breakfast, and prime location, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kota Kinabalu.

Located near the port, this is a perfect spot for exploring KK and Sabah! We stayed on the 11th floor (sea view) and the rooms were amazing, huge, very well equipped with comfy beds, well equipped WC and an awesome bathtub (kind of reminded me of a honeymoon suite) the window facing the ocean was huge (glass wall), it was wonderful seeing the sunset in bed!. Breakfast was delicious with many choices between western and malay foods. The swimming pool was small, but excellent for a afternoon refreshing swim. Very good service with helpful staff. Loved it!

Location. View from my deluxe room. It had a mini fridge (which didn't work so it had to be replaced) all toiletries, hairdryer, iron, well equipped gym, breakfast was excellent with alot of choice. I had 1 meal there and it was excellent.

The sea view was so good, interior of the room was also great. Modern and cozy. It was better than the picture that website gives. Also they have JACUZZI HINOKI! We used it every night, after finishing the schedule for the day. I think horizon hotel should update the picture of the rooms. I didn't expect the room to be THIS nice. Location is perfect, staff are also friendly. The breakfast soup was a bit...😅, but the fried rice was excellent. We went every day, no matter how tired we were, to have fried rice for breakfast. Gym and pool are also good. There is also a separate shallow pool for children.

The Horizon Hotel is a very good choice for a few days in KK. The location is excellent between all the downtown areas, we walked to most places we wanted to go. Nearby are plenty of shops and mini markets. So you have everything you need just outside the door. Our family room was nice and spacious and we enjoyed using the pool after a hot day outside. Breakfast was great with a lot of choices. Sometimes it got a bit busy depending on the time of the morning. I would stay here again anytime. Great value for money.
